A finely detailed late 19th Century Northern Italian collapsable chair embellished with geometric bone inlay throughout.

 

Displaying a rich Moorish influence in both form and decoration. The top section of the chair features a circular plaque depicting two putti harvesting fruit from a tree, lending the piece a romantic and highly decorative quality. Raised on elegantly splayed legs, the chair combines sculptural presence with practical design.
