An elegant early 20th Century Japanese hardwood wall console table. 
 
The scrolled top is raised on finely carved cabriole legs with the pommel decorated with chrysanthemum foliate motifs. The rich, warm lacquered hardwood and sculptural form give the table a strong decorative presence, combining traditional Japanese craftsmanship with an elegant silhouette.
