Two Black Forest bear figures. The bear in the sitting position is Late 19th Century, circa 1890 and most probably used for taper sticks.

The bear figure in a walking stance is circa 1880. This bear is well-carved, it has an old breakage to one paw and is missing an eye. There are drill holes to the side from when it was attached to the wall.
